Q: Where is Whittaker Street?

A: Located off I-94 – Exit 1 in New Buffalo, Michigan towards town and Lake Michigan.  Harbor Country Drive turns into Whittaker and takes you directly to the event. 

Q: What are the hours of the festival?

A: Saturday, October 7, 2023: Noon-9pm (ET)

Q: How much is the festival admission?

A: Admission is a $10 donation at the gate the day of the festival. Kids 12 and under are FREE

Q: Do you accept credit cards the day of the festival for admission?

A: No, event is cash only. There is an ATM at the Credit Union at Whittaker & Merchant Streets.

Q: Is there a Designated Driver rate?

A: No. Drink tickets are not included in the general admission so pricing is the same for designated drivers.

Q: What is admission for children?

A: Children 12 and under are free.  They must be accompanied by a parent.

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: Only Service dogs are allowed.  Emotional support animals will only be allowed if the owner supplies proof and certification. Service dogs are to be on a leash no more than 6ft long and must be accompanied and on best behavior.  Any negative interaction with guests will result in asking to leave the festival.  This is for the safety and enjoyment of all who are enjoying the festival.

Q: Will there be food?

A: Yes, there will be a selection of food trucks/caterers including BBQ, American and assorted snack vendors. The food vendor will set their own prices and collect payment at their truck/booth.

Q: How much are drink tickets?

A: There will be one area where your will be able to purchase drink tickets. They are $1 each.

Q: How much are the alcoholic beverages?

A: Pricing is between $5-$9 for beer, wine, and cider

Q: How does the wine tasting/sampling work?

A: Sampling of wine is a 1oz pour and costs $1-2 (or 1-2 tasting tickets)

*There is no sampling of beer or cider. 

Q: Will the festival go on, rain or shine?

A: Yes, it is a rain or shine event.  No refunds.

Q: What is In/Out Privileges?

A: You will receive a stamp when you arrive and pay admission.  Wristbands are for 21+ only. If you decide to leave, but want to come back in later, you will be asked to show your stamp.

Q: Can I bring my own cooler?

A: No, individual coolers are not allowed.  Please leave them at home or in your car. Food & Beverages are available for purchase at the event.

Q: Can I bring a chair?

A: Yes, you may bring your own beach or camp chair but the event provides a limited amount of chairs. 

Q: Will backpacks will be allowed?

A: Backpacks and bags will be searched in our efforts to keep all of our guests safe.

Q: Where is parking for event?

A: Parking is available along side streets or in a large public lot on the corner of Whittaker and Buffalo Street just across from the festival.

Q: When are the kids activities?

A: There is a designated kid’s area with various activity stations for kids from noon to 6pm.

Q: Is smoking allowed?

A: This is a non-smoking event. We ask that guests step outside the festival fencing to smoke.

Q: What’s not allowed inside festival?

A: No controlled substances, cigarettes, cigars, vapes, fireworks, weapons, coolers, outside food/drinks, pets, bare feet or hammocks.
